The Rills are a region along the west coast of the North, west of the Barrowlands and south-west of Winterfell. The Stony Shore forms the coast of the region, whilst the Wolfswood and Sea Dragon Point are located to the north. Blazewater Bay is to the south.

Cape Kraken is a region in the south-west of the North. It is south-west of Moat Cailin, west of the Neck and south of Blazewater Bay. Ironman's Bay and the Iron Islands are to their south. The castle Flint's Finger is in the north-east of the region.

The Barrowlands are a region in the North, located to the east of the Rills and southwest of Winterfell. The Kingsroad passes through the eastern edge of the Barrowlands. The town of Barrowton lies within the Barrowlands and is the largest settlement in the area.

The Stony Shore is a region in the North. It forms part of the west coast, west of the Rills and southwest of the Wolfswood and Sea Dragon Point.

Sea Dragon Point

Sea Dragon Point is a large peninsula in the North. It extends northwards, separating the Bay of Ice to the east from the Sunset Sea in the west. It is located west of the Wolfswood. The nearest major castle is Deepwood Motte.

Wolfswood

The Wolfswood is a forest in the North. It is located just north of Winterfell and extends for some three hundred miles north and west to the Bay of Ice. Deepwood Motte is located north-west of Winterfell on the other side of the Wolfswood, close to the Bay of Ice.

The Wall

The Wall is a colossal fortification which stretches for 300 miles along the northern border of the Seven Kingdoms, defending the realm from the wildlings who live beyond. The Wall is reported to be over 700 feet tall and is made of solid ice. It was supposedly constructed using both magic and mundane means some eight millennia ago, in the aftermath of the Long Night to defend the realm against the White Walkers who apparently dwell in the far north, though they are now considered myths by most.
